Another woman “honor killed” with a man

NASIRABAD: Two people, including a woman, were killed in yet another incident of honour killing in Nasirbad district here on Thursday.

According to details, a resident of Tehsil Tamboo of Nasirbad opened indiscriminate firing on his wife (M) and her alleged paramour Muhammad Yaseen in the name of honour. As a result, they received critical wounds and later succumbed to their injuries.  The accused escaped from the site after committing the crime.

Levies sources told the Baloch Hal that initial reports suggested that it was an incident of “Sia Kari” (honour killing), however, investigations were underway to ascertain the real causes of killing.  Personnel of Levies Forces handed over the bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities and registered a case against accused person.
