BA session lasts for only 15 minutes

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly was adjourned after remaining in session for merely 15 minutes here on Friday.

The Question Hour was deferred for the next session as concerned members were not present in the House

Three bills were tabled on the floor of the house regarding the Livestock and Local Government. Speaker Assembly Aslam Bhootani presided over the session.

On a Point of Order, Provincial Minister Ruqia Saeed Hashmi drew the attention on Mother’s Day and said the day will be observed on Sunday. Unfortunately it is not being observed entire Balochistan, she said. “Around 834 women die every year during the child birth, there is immense need of awareness among the people of Balochistan and legislator should work in their constituency in this regard,” she added.
