CM Raisani renews offer for political dialogue to all political forces
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani has once again invited disgruntled political forces for a dialogue to resolve the burning issues confronting the people of Balochistan.
Nawab Aslam Raisani renewed his offer here on Saturday while expressing his satisfaction on the smooth conduct of written tests held throughout the province to fill up 5000 vacancies in the education sector under the Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan Package.
More than 38000 unemployed graduates had submitted their applications seeking jobs in various departments under the federal and provincial governments.
Nawab Aslam Raisani who also is the Chief of Sarawan the tribes said that first phase of the induction of unemployed graduates, which had begun on May 22, 2010 testifies that the Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan package was a positive announcement and in the right direction to end the suffering of the people of the province. He maintained that our youths need honourable role to participate in the uplift of the province and the vested interest could no more hoodwink and detract them.
Chief Minister said his doors were open for all tribal and political leadership to sit together and come out with a common agenda aimed at addressing the miseries of the people of this most backward federating unit of the country.
Nawab Aslam Raisani said that the coalition partners in the Balochistan government have unified approach with regard to ameliorating the lot of common man. “Over the past two years our government has made remarkable achievements with regard to securing the just rights of the people,” Nawab Raisani maintained and added: “As a result of our untiring efforts the federal government has realized that it was time to deliver and the NFC Award, the announcement of Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan and the Constitutional Reforms aptly display the determination on the part of democratically elected government.”
Chief Minister Balochistan disclosed that more than 16500 different positions under the federal and provincial governments would be filled up through Balochistan Public Services Commission for gazetted posts and by high powered committees for the positions below Grade-16, purely on merit and in transparent manner.
He said strict orders had been issued to all Deputy Commissioners regarding holding of tests and interviews on merit and in transparent manner. “No leniency would be tolerated in this regard and if any complaint was received and found valid, the officer concerned would be taken to task,” Nawab Raisani warned.
The Chief of Sarawan called upon the tribal and political leadership to shun their personal or egotist thoughts and beliefs and come forth to bring the province out of political, social and economic turmoil.
“It must be our collective responsibility to serve our people without biases and prejudices for there had been much bloodshed and fathomless casualties in this part of the country due to the wrongdoings of the successive regimes both at federal and provincial levels,” Nawab Raisani concluded.
