CS orders recruitments before 30th June

QUETTA: Chief Secretary Balochistan Mir Ahmed Bukhsh Lehri has directed secretaries of provincial departments to complete recruitment process in their departments before 30th June 2010.

Addressing a meeting of provincial secretaries and other senior officials here on Tuesday, he said government departments should advertise vacant posts through media so that maximum number of candidates could apply for the jobs.

He recalled that there is need to take immediate steps to fill the 5400 vacant posts of Balochistan quota in the federal ministries and divisions adding such would also help in provision of employment to a number of youths.

He noted that graduate candidates who had applied for jobs to be given under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package would walk in interview at their relevant Deputy Commissioner Office on 22nd May 2010. He maintained that a committee headed by deputy commissioner would conduct interview of these candidates while a provincial secretary would supervise the interview process at deputy commissioner office respectively. He added that keeping in view the recruitment would be made on merit.

Lehri directed the senior officials to take stern action against encroachment on government lands, adding no permission could be granted to utilize land allocated for forests and environment objects for any other purpose.

He warned that action would be taken against the persons found involved in encroachment of government lands.
