QUETTA: The leaders of Organizing Committee Shoda-e-Balochistan have alleged that law and order situation of Balochistan was out of control of provincial government and demanded of the federal government for the dissolution of Balochistan government and stern action against perpetrators involved in the incidents of target killings.
“If steps were not taken against responsible till June 20, people hailing from Shia community across the country would march towards Quetta and lay a siege of Governor and Chief Minister Houses”, they added.
Speakers, including  Quaid-e-Millat Jafaria Pakistan Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, MNA of PML-Q Marvi Memon, Allama Raja Abbass and others expressed these views while addressing a public gathering organized by Organzing Committee Shoda-e-Balochistan on Sunday in connection with the incidents of target killings.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that conspiracies had been hatched from the very beginning to defame Shia community in the country while act of barbarism against Shia community in Quetta was highly condemnable.
He said that Shia community had played a significant role in development of Pakistan and had never become a part of any conspiracy hatched against the country. “Some elements are systematically campaigning against Shia community”, he said and adding, “government has taken no action against anti- Shia forces nor any case has been lodged against them”, Naqvi added.
He said that they had raised voice against the incidents of target killing on every platform but the incidents of target killing were still on the rise and government was silent over it. “If target killings were not stopped we would adopt other way of protest”, he warned.
Marvi Memon, who had arrived especially to attend public gathering,  said that through a well-knit international plan Pakistan was being destabilized and some elements were trying to fan difference amongst communities living in the country. “PML-Q has taken up the issue of target killing in the parliament, and has forwarded a list of banned outfits to authorities concerned but government so far has not taken any action against them”, she regretted.
Allama Raja Abbas said that those who violated the constitution of the country, should be brought to justice and added that rulers had badly failed to ensure the safety and security of the people.  “Agents of Israel, India and Afghanistan have started conspiracies to harm Pakistan, but we have to foil their designs”, he added.
Criticizing Balochistan government, he said that it had miserably failed to provide security to the people particularly Shia community and added that if action was not taken against perpetrators involved in the target killings till June 20th, people belonging to Shia community would start a long march towards Quetta across the country and would lay a siege of Governor’s Secretariat and Chief Minister’s house.
Public gathering also adopted many resolutions, seeking abolishment of Balochistan government, immediate arrest of perpetrators and action against banned outfits. Ends
