DPO Chagai suspends five policemen

CHAGAI: District Police Officer (DPO) Chagai Peer Jan Mengal has suspended five policemen including a Station House Officer  (SHO) in connection with escaping of five under trial prisoners from Dalbandin Police Station.

According to police sources, the prisoners, who had been apprehended for their involvement in heinous crimes, escaped from custody due to the negligence of the suspended policemen.

The suspended police officials included SHO Zafar, head constable Muhammad Jan and constables-Fakir Mohammad, Peer Jan and Muhammad Jan. They have been arrested for questioning.-APP
