Gilani assures Mengal of addressing Baloch grievances

KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, on Saturday said that government would do its best to address the grievances of the people of Balochistan, reported the official news agency.
Gilani was talking to media after holding an hour-long meeting with seasoned Baloch leader Sardar Ataullah Khan Mengal here at his residence. Mengal was the first eve elected chief minister of Balochistan in early 19703. When his government was forcefully removed by late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, a deadly war of resistance had been initiated by Baloch tribesmen which was brutally crushed by the country’s strong military.
The Prime Minister said that his meeting with Sardar Ataullah Mengal was long overdue and this time he took the opportunity to meet him.
He said that Sardar Ataullah Mengal briefed him about the problems of the people of Balochistan which included the issue of missing persons as well as under-development of various areas of the province.
The Prime Minister assured that the federal and provincial governments would make joint efforts for the development and prosperity of the people of Balochistan.
He further said that he would also ask the Chairman of the Implementation Committee of the Parliament, Senator Raza Rabbani, to meet the Baloch leaders as well as elected leaders of Balochistan to apprise them of the benefits of provincial autonomy extended through the enactment of the 18th Constitutional Amendment.
When asked about his meeting with other Baloch leaders, the Prime Minister categorically said that he was prepared to meet all the political leaders even those living abroad as and when they return to their homeland.
In the same context, he mentioned that during the tenure of his government not a single political leader or worker has been sent to jail.
With regard to the issue of target killings, he said that he had already instructed the Ministry of Interior to work out the modalities for the security of the citizens.
Sardar Ataullah Mengal thanked the Prime Minister for taking out time to meet him and to listen to his point of view.
Sardar Ataullah Mengal specially mentioned that Baloch people are as good Pakistanis as the people of other parts of the country.
As regards the problems of people of Balochistan, he stated that he has informed the Prime Minister about the problems and he would be looking forward for some visible change.

This is a clear disinformation and attempt by Pakistani prime minister and Pakistani media, who portray that there is hope for Baloch in remaining in Pakistani Federation!!! One has to ask from him or herself, what the Baloch nation has gained since 27th March 1948 when the newly established Pakistani forces invaded and forcefully annexed fully sovereign and independent Balochistan? Is there even one person in the world who would point out one positive thing of this act of barbarism? The newly and artificial established Pakistan even did so much harm to the Baloch nation, that was not even heard of the British colonialism!!!
What promise or hope Mr. Gilani is giving to the Baloch nation?
Is there any impartial reader to this article that could contradict my statement? Mr. Gilani, are you trying to comvince the Baloch nation that the slavery of the Baloch nation is better than the British or American slavery? Mr. Gilani, are you a rational and logic politician and will listen to the Baloch people? If your answer is yes and you are going to listen to Baloch nation then listen to the following and act accordingly if you are a man of dignity and democracy:
I am a Baloch man from the grass root of Baloch society and think have 99% Baloch men and women, who would say: Mr. Gilani and all those who are sitting on the steering of power in Pakistan, please for God sake, leave us alone and we can manage ourselves and take out your troops from our beloved country!!!
Enough is enough, just let out from our country!!! This the message of all Baloch men and women to the Pakistani establishment. Just get out from the Baloch soil, and we will remain a good and peaceful neighbor of you!!!
The Baloch never volunteered to be part of your federation and we never want to be in a federation with any body.
Our sons and daughters are daily being slaughtered by your brutal so called Islamic forces, your army, FC, ISI, MI and so on. And that list of murderers is long.
Mr. Gilani, you and your masters in the Pakistani establishment should know that either you will leave Baloch soil with saved face or as you are experiencing will kick you out by the will of our masses!!!
Mr. Gilani and other Misters of Pakistans establishment, do not waste your and our blood and resources in keeping the Baloch ensalved longer!!! You and every body in the world know very well, that no army in history of man kind , no matter how big or strong an army had been, have ever been able to maintain its grip on a nation!!! And on this regard Baloch is not an exception. You are free to meet any leader or personality you may wish, but you can not continue this enslavery of Baloch nation. Earlier, the Baloch have not been united for seeking their freedom, but today a 3 years old girls or boy of Baloch family wants not less than total freedom and independent.
Mr. Gilani and your Paki co., it is a clear message that I hope you understand that, you can not continue oppressing the Baloch nation!!!
Freedom is a dear thing, so dear that the Baloch youth is dieing daily for that. So, you should understand, when you see the facts on the ground, that the Baloch nation is standing for full independence, so what you get by meeting this or that personality of Baloch.
When Mr. Gilani and co, you know very well that Baloch with the grace of Allah will be independence, so why you are trying to prolong it? Prolonging it, menas more blood shed and more wasting of dearly needed money and resources. Do not waste this money and these men on a lost case. When some body, knows that he or she has lost the game, but still try to keep it going, then that person is commtting suicide.
Some Punjabi army personel has expressed in private that the Balochi population is in numbers, but they have a huge country, and that army in no way let Balochistan go from Pakistan!!! And if they lost Bangladesh because it was far away and there was no common borders!!! And the Baloch population is a smal population and that army will kill all those Baloch who seek independence!!!
I advise to this mind sett holders, please do not be arrogant of your arms and army!!! Because history has shown, that no army has ever defeated a nation, no matter how small is has been. Example, East Timor, with a million of population contra huge army of Indonesia!! Another example is Bosnia Herze Goinia, where both these now independent countries had common borders with the oppressing countries, but at the end, the result was the defeat of the powerful not the weak.
And, when you are not listening to these good advices, the result would be the safocation of Punjabi population for some time. The Punjabi population will not be eliminated but will experience huge difficulties and economical distress. How? Look, Punjab is a land locked country and she depends to her neighbors. In south is Sindh. The Sindhi wont forget what you in the name of Islam and Pakistan, reduced the great Sindh and Sindhis, nothing but a little oppressed nation!!! In the east is the great democratic republic of Indian, and she will not forget that how much pain and misery you in the name of Islam and Pakistan have inflicted to them. In north is the great nation of the Pashtoons, and they never forget which pain and misery you have brought for them. In the south and west is Balochistan and Baloc nation!!! When you do not listen to the grievances of all of these, on the day of judgement which is not far away, you will be doomed to die out and pay for the all miseries and pains you have inflicted to all of these great nations!!! Remember, what happened to the great republic of Youguslavia? Do you know, which price Serbia paid and still is paying? And that is located in the middle of Europe and by having a great power beside herself, namely Russia!!
Who you, Punjab, think would be your friend and would stay your friend, when you was defeated? I think none!!! Absolutely no one. Who in the world want to stay with a defeated, unfame and barbaric nation like Punjab? There should be some crazy guys, that would stay with you, like the oil rich Arabs, who would think that you will supply them with ladies from Punjab!!!
Punjab!!!! Look at yourself and come to the terms of reality….. What you have of good to contribute to the world community? Nothing worth mentioning, except work force to others who may or may not need it. Dearest neighbor, Punjab!!!! Look and accept this good advice, leave Balochistan before it is late. Leave Balochistan while you can save your face!!!
Punjab, do not be arrogant because of having some nucs….these nucs… can not help you… where you want to use these nucs? And by using these nucs… do you think,,,, others wont use them against you in Lahor and other populated areas of Punjab?
I REPEAT MY ADVICE TO YOU MR. GILANI AND CO. YOU KNOW VERY WELL THE BALOCH IS UP FOR INDEPENDENCE NOTHING LESS THAN THAT. AND NO CHOICE IS LEFT FOR YOU, EXCEPT ACCEPT THIS DEMAND BEFORE IT IS LATE!!!
IF YOU DID NOT LISTEN TO THIS VERY GOOD AND GOOD MEANT ADVICE, THEN THE WHOLE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE CONSEQUENCES IS YOU ONLY , PUNJAB AND THAT ARROGANT ARMY.
AND THAT ARMY IS NOT MORE POWERFUL THAN SERBIAS OR IRAKS.
