Governor Magsi appoints new VC, Pro-VC at UoB

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor and Chancellor University of Balochistan (UoB), Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, has appointed Dr Abdul Nabi as Vice Chancellor and Dr Mehrab Baloch as Pro Vice Chancellor of the University.

Two separate notifications issued by Governor’s Secretariat here Friday said.

Till recently Dr Abdul Nabi was serving as Tenure Track in Chemistry Department. H is associated with the profession for the last over 30 years. He obtained h is PHD degree from Britain and did his post doctorate from different countries. His over 80 articles have been published in national and international journals. He would be 14th Vice Chancellor of University.

Pro-VC Dr Mehrab Khan is Professor Geology Department of the University. He obtained hid PhD Degree form University of Balochistan and did his post doctorate from different countries including UK and USA. His over 20 articles have been published in national and international journals.
