Grenade attack injures five people in Quetta

QUETTA: At least five persons were injured when unknown persons hurled a hand grenade at their house on Brewery Road here on Sunday.

Police officials said two persons riding on a motorcycle threw a grenade at a house and fled from the scene. The injured were identified as Ghulam Akbar, Bilal, Imran, Nazir and Irfan Ali who received splinter wounds. All the injured said to be working in barber shop in Quetta and belong to Punjab province. The victims were taken to Bolan Medical Hospital for treatment.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
