I am still the PPP Balochistan President: Senator Lashkari
QUETTA: Provincial president of Pakistan peoples party Balochistan Senator Haji Lashkari Raisani has said that all the provincial and districts organizations, including students and lawyers wings, were dissolved in Balochistan following the directives of Co-Chairman President Asif Ali Zardari
Addressing a news conference at his Sarawan House residence here on Friday, he said that Co-chairman President Asif Ali Zardari and central members will decide the future course of Party in the province. “I will meet President after few days in which we will discuss the issue and decide the future strategy,” he added
“Balochistan situation is critical, there is a serious concern about target killing and Peoples Party is playing political role in Balochistan situation” he added
He said fake degree’s holder should resign from Parliamentary seat and should be appearing in the process of election.
“Every party organ had been dissolved and no organ of the party holds a permanent position and some time it will have to be dissolved paving the way from fresh elections and new blood in the party,” he said
He said that he is still the provincial President of Pakistan Peoples Party and every party has problems having difference of opinion in a democratic way.
Federal Minister Humayun Aziz Kurd, Provincial Minister Haji Ismail Gujar were also present when Haji Lashkari Raisani spoke to the media person.
A section of the local Press had tried to create an impression that Haji Lashkari Raisani had been removed and replaced by another team of leaders. But Mr. Raisani denied this claim saying that he was enjoying will confidence of the Party-Co-Chairman, Mir Asif Ali Zardari.
It may be recalled that a number of sitting ministers were sacked from the Provincial Cabinet for indiscipline and others lost their position during the power struggle within the PPP. Haji Lashkari Raisani had established that he is in full control of the party and he will supervise the fresh elections in the PPP in near future.
