Man arrested at Quetta Airport

QUETTA: Airport Security Force (ASF) has arrested a man after recovering a pistol from his possession in the premises of Quetta airport on Friday.

Official sources said the accused identified as Murtaza Mohammad Hashim, a driver by profession, came at  the airport for receiving of a Shiite scholar.  ASF recovered a pistol, 30 bore 18 rounds and two magazines from his possession during a search. ASF handed over the accused to airport police after initial interrogation.

Official sources said the arrested person was driver of religious scholar Mohammad Jumma Asadi who is the Imam of Nasirabad Imam Barga of Quetta. Further investigation is being carried out by police.
