Mother killed along with five-year daughter in DMJ

QUETTA: A mother and her five-year old daughter were killed while her husband received bullet wounds when unknown persons opened fire on them inside their house in Goth Babul Khan Jhakrani in Dera Murad Jamali on Sunday.

Sources said unidentified persons stormed into the house of Arbab Khan Jhakrani, a local resident, and opened indiscriminate fire. As result , a woman, Raji Bibi, and her five-year-old girl, Hani, were killed on the spot while Arbab Khan Jhakrani, the head of the house, received bullet wounds.

The perpetrators managed to flee from the scene. Levies force rushed to the site soon after the incident and took the dead bodies and the injured to nearby hospital.

The bodies of slain mother and daughter were handed over to relatives after autopsy. Levies force termed the incident as a case of old enmity, however a case has been registered and investigation is under way.
