Secretary Information pays tributes to late Chakar Khan

QUETTA: Muhammad Azam Baloch, Secretary Information Balochistan has expressed his heartfelt sorrow and grief over the sad demise of veteran journalist and editor of monthly ‘Balochi Dunya Multan’, late Mir Chakar Khan Baloch.

In his condolence message here Monday Mr. Azam Baloch paid glowing tribute to the services rendered by Mir Chakar Khan Baloch as an upright, outspoken and bold journalist who had devoted his life for protecting the rights of the people of Balochistan at every forum.

“On behalf of the Government of Balochistan, I convey our heartfelt sorrow and grief to the family of Mir Chakar Khan Baloch on the untimely death of such a great journalist,” the statement said.

Secretary Information said that Mir Sahib had been the harbinger of positive journalism, the premise that he upheld throughout his professional life. Mr. Azam Baloch expressed the hope that his elder son – Mir Shahbaz Khan – and other family members would continue the mission of Mir Chakar Khan Baloch.

Mr. Baloch prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage of his family members to bear this irreparable loss with courage and fortitude.
