Three explosives planted at Excise headquarters discovered

QUETTA: Bomb disposal squad found three explosive devices planted at the Provincial Excise and Taxation Headquarters here on Monday.

According to sources, unknown person planted three bombs in the office premises. Security forces and Bomb Disposal Squad rushed the spot and defused the bombs when informed by the local employees.

However one of the devices had an exploded fuse that failed to ignite the bomb that could have devastated the whole area. The officials recovered the devices and removed the bomb saving lives and the property of the Government.

Official said that the explosive device weighed two kilograms. Security forces and Police cordoned of the area and mounted a search before clearing their entire premises. Police has been registered a case against unknown person.
