Three killed in tribal fight in Jaffarabad

JAFFARABAD: Three persons were killed in Jaffarabad District in an incident of firing on Monday in what levies force described it as result of old tribal enmity.

Official sources said incident took place in Bakshapur area of Sindh province in which unknown persons opened indiscriminate fire on three persons, hailing from Jhakrani tribe, killing them instantly. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

Levies force reached the site took the dead bodies to nearby hospital. The victims were identified as Dad Mohammad, Abdul Majeed and Wahid Bakhsh.

The bodies of slain were later handed over to the relatives for burial in Jaffarabad district.

Official sources said incident was a result of old enmity between two tribes. According to sources Jhakrani and Kanrani tribes had a dispute for past three years which so far claimed nine lives of both tribes.
