Two women killed, two injured in Bolan District
QUETTA: Two women were killed and two others sustained injuries in an incident of firing in Peer Ghaib area, a picnic point, of Bolan district on Sunday morning.
Deputy Commissioner of the Kachhi district, Ghulam Mohammad, termed the incident the result of domestic dispute. He said accused, Mohammad Arif, along with his companions took his wife, wife’s mother, sister and one of her female friends over the pretext of excursion to Peer Gayab where he shot dead his mother-in-law, Nagina, and sister-in-law, Humaira, and injured his wife, Sana, and her friend Rani.
Talking to media, Sana said she had a dispute with her husband, Mohammad Arif, for the last two years. A few days earlier, he had asked her to come to Quetta to reconcile. She said her husband his brother Nanay and one of their friends took them over the pretext of excursion from Quetta to Peer Gayab midnight of Saturday.
She said that when they reached at the picnic, her husband and his brother tied all of them with rope and started beating them.
“Firstly, we were tortured and after that my husband opened fire on us, killing my mother and sister instantly and fleeing along with our two children,” Sana recalled.
The bodies of deceased and the injured were rushed to Mach Hospital by levies force and later shifted to Quetta. Levies force have registered a case and embarked upon a search for accused.
