Additional DG NAB Charged With Contempt Of Court

QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court has served notices of contempt of court to Additional Director of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and several others while taking action on an application submitted by  Mohammad Naeem Bhatti, a former Superintendent at the office of District Coordination Officer Quetta.

The order was issued by a double bench of Balochistan High Court comprising of Mr. Justice Faiz Essa, the Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court and Judge Mohammad Noor. They have served notice of contempt of court to Additional Director General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB0 Roman Zaheer, Executive District Officer (EDO) Revenue Quetta Zaheer Hussain, Executive Officer Cantonment Board Quetta Dr. Naheem Chaudhary, Superintendent EDO Revenue Office Abdul Majeed and Lane Superintendent Cantonment Board Office  Liquat Ali.

They were all sent notice of contempt of court. However, the background information as to how the contempt of court had been committed was not disclosed by the Balochistan High Court officials.
