Another Congo virus case reported in Quetta

QUETTA: Another patient suffering from Congo virus was admitted to TB sanatorium here on Monday.

A Class Ten student Abdul Wali, hailing from Zhob district, was brought to hospital in Quetta on Tuesday and admitted, Dr Adam Khan Nasir, confirmed.

Talking to this Correspondent, Dr Adam Khan Nasir said three patients have been admitted to hospital and some were discharged after providing them treatment. “Three people, including a woman, lost their lives during the past two weeks.”

“There is a single ward of Congo virus in Quetta lacking of proper facilities here,” he complained saying that the Health Department should pay attention to patients providing adequate facilities to them.
