Passenger bus looted in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: A group of robbers looted a passenger coach near Khuzdar while it was coming from Quetta and heading for Karachi.

According to sources, a passenger coach was looted on RCD highway at the same day. A group of robbers intercepted passenger coach on RCD Highway and made the passengers hostage at gun-point. They looted cash, cell phones and other valuables from the passengers.

The transporters protested against the incident and criticized the law enforcement agencies for their failure to maintenance of safety and security on highways.

Transporters in Balochistan had gone last week on a strike against the growing highway robberies on the National Highway. The government of Balochistan, on its part, had assured to take action against the robbers and provided complete protection to the passenger buses and trucks.
