BA Speaker takes self-oath

QUETTA: Balochistan Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhoothani renewed his oath of office here Monday.

He took oath under Article 53 (2) read with Article 127 of the Constitution. He read out the oath self . Under this oath, whenever Balochistan Governor would leave the country, Speaker would need not to take fresh oath as Acting Governor.

Clarifying a point of order raised by Senior Minister Maulana Abdul Wasay, Speaker Bhotani told that under 18 th amendment it had become necessary to take this oath -PPI
