Baloch students boycott classes, exams at LUAWMS over expulsion of 24 fellows
QUETTA: President Balochistan Students Organization (BSO) Lasbela Zone, Masood Baloch, has announced to boycott the classes and exams after expulsion of BSO’s twenty four workers from Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Science (LUAWMS).
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Tuesday, the president BSO Lasbela zone said that they would continue boycott of the university till their workers are restored and cases against them are not withdrawn. He said BSO is a political student’s organization that is working to create awareness among Baloch students.
He further said that not a single worker of BSO was involved in the riots of Lasbela University but it seems few elements are conspiring to restrain Baloch students from getting education. There are certain elements who wanted clash between Baloch and Pashtoon students but BSO has foiled this conspiracy, the BSO president remarked. He said when the university administration was approached regarding the reason of expulsion they replied that the administration took this decision under pressure because the intelligence agencies were forced to expel BSO’s students.
