COAS arrives in Quetta

QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani arrived in Quetta on Monday on a two day visit. Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Javed Zia and other military officials accorded him warm welcome upon his arrival.

COAS during his visit would lay a flower wreath at the monument of martyrs to pay homage to those who laid their lives during the Army offenses against the terrorists in tribal areas. He along with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will also participate in a ceremony at Command and Staff College.
