Qazi visits Chaman

CHAMAN: Commander Southern Command Lt General Javaid Zia Tuesday visited Chaman.

He was accompanied by GOC Major General Saad Khattak and other senior army officers. Brigadier Asad Shahzada Khattak received them at FC helipad.

During their brief stay, they inspected biometric system installed along the Pak-Afghan border. They were also briefed about security measures adopted along. Pak-Afghan border by FC authorities.

Commander southern Command also inspected Chaman City, border areas and Kozhak Pass. Later he returned to Quetta.

During their visit, Pak-Afghan border was closed for all sorts of movement. Strict security measures were also evident in Chaman City in the meanwhile.
