Divisional Office of Benazir Income Support Program Burnt in Kech

KECH: The divisional office of Benazir Income Support Program, which was responsible to monitor the project in three districts of Kech, Gwadar and Panjgur, was torched by unknown persons on Saturday evening, police said.

According to the officials sources, unidentified persons burnt the office of Divisional Director of Benazir Income Support Program in Kech District which led to the complete destruction of the official files, furniture, computers and other important items available inside the office.

Police have lodged a case at Turbat City Police Station against unknown people responsible for igniting the fire the office, its record and important documents. No one has been arrested by the police so far in connection to the fire caused at the Benazir Income Support Program. No has accepted responsibility for causing the fire which seemed to be a case of sabotage. The search for the culprit(s) was underway until Sunday evening but no arrests could be made in this connection.
