Strike continues in support of ‘disappeared Baloch doctors”

QUETTA: Doctors in Balochistan continued their strike on Saturday on a call given by Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) to protest against the ‘enforced disappearance’ of three Baloch doctors and threatened to intensify their protest if the missing doctors were not immediately resurfaced.
According to the details, doctors across Balochistan continued a two-hour boycott of out-patients department (OPDs) on Saturday as a part of their ongoing strike to protest the enforced disappearance of three Baloch doctors i.e. Dr. Naseem Baloch, Dr. Akbar Marri and Dr. Din Mohmmad Baloch. The strike is being observed in all major hospitals and health centers of Balochistan.
Dr. Mazhar Baloch, president of the Balochistan chapter of Pakistan Medical Association, told the media that doctors would intensify their protest if the missing doctors were not released immediately by the government.
