GoB increases compensation for killed policemen

QUETTA: In the wake of growing violent attacks on the policemen, the government of Balochistan has decided to install jammers inside different jails across the province to avoid further assaults in the future and increase the existing amount of compensation for the policemen who get killed in different battles with the armed groups.
The government in Quetta finds itself trapped in serious problems in the wake of increasing attacks on the police and other security forces. Thus, it has decided to increase the compensation of policemen who are killed by armed attackers from Rs. 0.5 million to 2 million rupees. The government has also decided to tighten the security inside different jails by installing jammers to counter future attacks on the policemen and police stations.
