Grenade attack on Kharan Levies station kills one personnel

KHARAN: One personnel of Levies Forces was killed and another wounded in a hand grenade attack in Kharan town of Balochistan on Wednesday night.

According to sources, unidentified people hurled a hand grenade at Levies station in Kharan town which exploded with a big bang and seriously wounded two personnel of Levies Force identified as Muhammad Yaqoob and Muhammad Ali. Assailants escaped from the site under cover of darkness after throwing grenade. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment where Muhammad Yaqoob succumbed to his injuries.

Sources said that due to serious condition of injured Muhammad Ali, doctors referred him to Quetta for further treatment after providing him first medical aid.
