GTA stages protest against violence on teachers

QUETTA: Government Teachers Association (GTA) staged protest here in front of Quetta press club against violence on teacher’s rally in Islamabad.

The protest demonstration has been held under the aegis of GTA against violence on teachers in Islamabad.

Addressing to the protest demonstration Sabir, Rustam Khan said that the democratic government that claims “Roti Kapra aur Makaan” for all, is still implemented in dictatorial policies.

They vehemently condemned violence on teachers. They have demanded immediate release of the held teachers.

Rustam Khan said that a teacher is builder of nation. He demanded of the government to increase salaries of government employees including teachers according to ratio of inflation.

He said that it is misconception of the government that they could suppress the teachers by violence. He threatened that if their demands would not be accepted then they would increase the ambit of protest.
