Indonesian Ambassador Sees Balochistan As A Potential Market For Central Asia
QUETTA, June 28: The Ambassador of Indonesia in Pakistan His Excellency Ishak Latuconsina has that his country viewed Balochistan as one of the best markets of central Asia which was rich in mineral resources besides having lucrative grounds in terms of fisheries and fresh fruits, vegetables and dry fruits.
He expressed these views while addressing to traders and industrialists during his visit to Chamber of Commerce Quetta here on Monday.
He said that he would persuade the traders and industrialists of his country to invest in Pakistan, adding that while traders from Pakistan in general and from Balochistan in particular would be encouraged to visit Indonesia for trade purposes. He stressed upon the exchange of expertise in terms of trade from the both the sides.
He said that Indonesia was a big exporter of coal and has expertise in the field, adding that the Indonesian government would provide assistance to the experts of Balochistan in the mentioned field.
He said that Indonesia had an enormous trading market and stressed upon the traders of Balochistan in particular and that of Pakistan in general to invest there.
He said that according to the Indonesian government policy, single entry visas were issued for fifteen days to one month?s period, adding however, if any trader wanted extension, it could be extended to one year.
Chairman of Chamber of Commerce Quetta Sardar Muhammad Ali Jogezai and President Ghulam Farooq, executive members Sahibzada Muhammad Khan, Niaz Muhammad, Fazal Qadir Sherani, Bragedier (r) Abdul Razaq, Qutub Khan, Masood, and Abdullah Noorzai were also present on this occasion.
