Kidnappers kill Quetta Jeweler

QUETTA: A dead body, which was recovered from Mastung district, some 60 kilometers south of Quetta, has been identified as Muhammad Kashif on Saturday, who was previously kidnapped from Quetta.

According to police, Kashif, a jeweler by profession was abducted from Kasi Road of Quetta by unknown armed people on May, 22 last.

Local administration of Mastung had recovered dead body from Dasht area and later shifted it to Civil Hospital Quetta for identification. However, on Saturday the brother of slain jeweler, Sarfaraz identified it as his brother, Muhammad Kashif.

Police later on handed over the body to heirs and started further investigation.
