NLF demands 50 pc raise in pension

QUETTA: President National Labour Federation Muhammad Rafeeq on Wednesday demanded 50 percent increase in pension and setting minimum salary of a worker and employ as Rs 15000 per month.

According to a statement, he said that raising price hike has created a lot of problems for government and private employees particularly worker class. He sought special welfare steps for workers.

He viewed that minimum salary of Rs 7000 was inadequate to meet daily expenditures of a family, adding therefore,the government must announce setting minimum pay as Rs 15000 a month.

He also emphasized the need to increase pension of retired employees.
