Passengers stage sit-in against railway admin

QUETTA: Due to unavailability of engine for passenger train bound to Chaman, the travelers on Friday staged sit-in at the railway track and chanted slogans against railway administration.

The travelers observed protest demonstration and staged sit-in against railway administration and blocked the Jaffar Express, Quetta bound Rawalpindi.

The passengers dispersed away after assurance from the railway administration, which provided engine to Quetta bound Chaman train after two hours delay.

It is pertinent to mention here that the delay in trains from Quetta to interior Sindh and Punjab has become a matter of routine due to unavailability of engines, which increased the miseries of travelers.
