PIA Flight Develops Fault, Returns To Quetta
QUETTA: A Karachi-bound PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) flight Pk-689 was diverted and landed at Quetta International Airport when it developed technical fault mid air on Monday.
PIA sources said that PK-689 Quetta-Karachi flight took off from Quetta today. One of the engines of ATR aircraft closed mid air. The Pilot returned the flight and landed at Quetta airport safely.
It was learnt that engineers would examine the plane Tuesday to remove the fault.
