Plea made for the release of missing Baloch persons

QUETTA: A resident of Kohlu district appealed to the Supreme Court for the recovery of his brother who he claimed  had been whisked away by security personnel from Quetta city in November last.

Addressing a news conference here on Tuesday, Mehrab Marri claimed that his brother Surab Marri and Mohammad Shah Zarkon were passing through the Masjid Road of Quetta when men in official uniform intercepted them and whisked them away.

He said despite filing several complaints to the government, eight months have been passed but the families are completely blank about their whereabouts. He appealed to the Supreme Court, Human rights organization and Interior Ministry to take measures for early and safe recovery of missing persons.
