Two persons shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA: Two persons were shot dead in Kili Bangulzai area of provincial capital here on Saturday, police official said.

Official sources said Umer Farooq and Abdul Ruaf were passing through the area when unknown persons ridding on a motorbike opened fire on them.

As result of firing, both  of the victims received multiple bullet wounds on upper torso and died on the spot. The perpetrators escaped from the scene. The bodies were taken to Sandman Hospital Quetta for autopsy.

It could be a case of old enmity, said an official. However police have registered a case under section 302 and started probe into the matter. No one has accepted responsibility for the killing.
