BISE Announces 2010 Result

QUETTA: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta has announced results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination 2010 here on Monday. Residential College Loralai made history with clinching all three first positions.

Chairman BISE Ghulam Hussain Sarparah, while announcing the result at a crowded press conference, said as many as 37646 candidates out of 45175 succeeded in an annual exams of SSC science and arts groups conducted by the BISE, Quetta making the passing ratio of over 80 percent.

According to the face sheet, chairman added that Abrar Shah of Residential College Lorali secured first position with 899 while Ehsanullah and Mohammad Kazim of same college shared second and third positions with 897 and 890 marks respectively.

Among the girls, Nida Jamil bagged first position by obtaining 876 marks.

To a question,the Chairman BISE blamed that provincial government was meddling in the affairs of the Board and he was made OSD for not complying with their directives, adding he would resort to court for justice in this connection.
