BNM President Asa Zafar Quits Position, Party

TURBAT: The Central president of Baloch National Movement (BNM) Asa Zafar and Major Mohammad Ali, a member of the BNM Central Committee, have decided to relinquish their party position and the basic membership of the organization which supports the idea of an independent Balochstan and endorses the ongoing armed struggle.
In a surprising and totally unexpected move, the Baloch nationalist leader, who had replaced late Ghulam Mohammad Baloch as the BNM president after his mysterious killing in April 2009, has decided to give up his position in BNM as well as the basic party membership. He has been joined in this crucial decision by another top BNM leader Major Mohmmad Ali, who is a member of the Central Committee of the party.
The causes of these resignations could not be known.
Asa’s predecessor Ghulam Mohammad Baloch had been whisked away allegedly by the state intelligence agencies from the legal chamber of Kachkol Ali Baloch along with two other Baloch leaders Lala Munir and Sher Mohammad Baloch, a member of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) last year. They were killed a week after their abduction. Since then, Asa Zafar had been heading the party.

Very sad, In fact the ill advised decision of Baloch “Sarmachar’s” to confront Baloch nationlist will not only pave the way for Islamabad to expend and execute its “divide and rule” policy but also compell Baloch political activists like Asa and many others to quit politics.
They understand that resulting conlflict between Baloch nationlist and so called militants will risk each and every political activists and leaders life beside their political party affilation and opinion.
I think Asa has taken a bold step but he has to come up publicaly and condem the “infiltrated Sarmaachar’s” that their policy of creating infight among Baloch people is not accepted.

I agree with Gichki that what we see between our baloch nationalists and the \sarmachaars\ is not at all we baloch’s expected since the movement has gone noticeable. The newspapers are full of the baloch youngsters whom are praising the very experienced baloch nationalists in bad words and that is doing nothing but giving a lot of excitement to our mutual enemies.
I don’t understand the emotional statements of Freedom fighters in which they are always trying to prove themselves the solution of everything which is not at all right and is demaging the political plat form which has taken decades to preach the alternate paths for taking our rights.
I felt very bad over the statements by freedom fighters groups about Mir. Dashti and Habib Jalib where they both were MINDS and PIONEERS of Baloch Rights Activities.
For God sake we need unity and things are getting worse the way we see them every day.

As a broad day of light, it`s evident that Pakistani establishment is creating rift among the ethnic groups, between defferent political Parties, among tribes again in the tribes of Balochistan.
Mr. Habib Jalib boldly decrlared, “Balochistan is for Balochs.” in response to the Panjabi Master`s voice of
mr. Durrani.
Let`s forget the teenager Baloch`s remarks to invite BNP
to abandon the Parliamentry politics. The teenagers of
all Balochi political parties have discovered – thanks to
Pakistani atrocities on Balochs – that in the framework of
Pakistan, their voices are like the parriot in the loud
drums of Pakistani establishment.
The teenagers and vote bankers of PMLs, PPPs and other
Baluch National Parties are being compelled by the present Pakistani establishment to be united and raise
against those who have snatched the bottles of milk from
the mouth of Baloch babies.
The recent wave of target killing to the Baloch activists shall turn into the next phase of Baloch`s struggle for emanicipation. The first stage lied on the shoulders of their leaders (Khane Qalat plus Baloch Sardars), the second phase is counted as the Political Baloch activist. The third phase of Baloch struggle for
freedom shall include participation of the masses of
Baloch population to throw the yoke of Pakistani establishment.
It`s normal that the Baloch political activists shall smell danger in the air and shall avoid from their show-business. Naturally, they shall either hide themselves,
like Assa Zaffer behind curtains or go under-ground
like B. Dagh Bugti and lot of others.
The present policy of “stick & biryani plates” (Target
killings & packages) enhance the enlightment of Balochs
all over the world. Not only Balochs of Pakistani occupied Balochistan/Irani occupied Balochistan, but also is opening the eyes of Balochs of Sindh, Balochs of Seraeki belt and friends of Balochs all over the world.

I urged friends not to jump into conclusions and wait for the results to see why he resigned and who will replace him. You never know, this change can be for good.
As far targeting the of the some of our own Baloch, then that is a part of the reality, if they are traitors and supporting the Pakistani agencies against their own people, then we should have no mercy for them. Otherwise things will go out of control and we will be finished in no time if the number of these traitors increase as the ISI and MI will pay any amount to recruit more and more traitors.
Realy the Pakistani State has lounched a counter insergency tactics to enagage the Baloch Political parties with the Insurgents in a fight. As the insurgents are ignorant and easyly they have been engaged in a fight of words by owning the killing of Baloch leader who have been killed by the State Agencies. The other counter Insergency tactics is to arm the Baloch Drug traficures and criminal by providing arms etc. by the secret agencies and organizing Baloch Musalah Defa ect to elemenate the Baloch Political Activist and insergents. They ( pakistan Army) made their job easy as they knowns that it is the Baloch Psycology to abouse/kill is brother than the enemy. Baloch have is beaten by his ego. For God sake lealize that no arm struggle can be sucessfull with out a mass party. The mass party can organize the Nation to defeat the enmy.
