National Party Protests Across Balochistan Over Dashti’s Murder
QUETTA: National Party (NP) held protest rallies in different parts of Balochistan on Monday condemning the assassination of its central leader Maula Baksh Dashti in Turbat on Sunday.
Former Nazim of Turbat city, Maula Baksh Dashti was gunned down in his native town Turbat on Sunday night and laid to rest on Monday in the presence of party’s central leadership. National Party also announced mourning for three days.
In Quetta, the NP took out rally from its party’s central secretariat on Adalat Road and after marching through various roads held a protest demonstration before the Quetta Press Club. They chanted slogans against the government for its failure to keep peace in Balochistan.
Addressing the protestors, central and district leaders of party, Abdul Khaliq Baloch, Mohim Khan Baloch, Niaz Baloch and Rahmat Baloch condemned the incident and announced that NP will observe shutter down strike on Tuesday across the province and wheel jam strike will be observed on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, NP also held protest rallies in Turbat, Khuzdar, Dalbandin, Dera Allahyar and Panjgur against the assassination of Dashti. They held government responsible for target killings and asked them to quit if they can not maintain law and order in the province.

It time for NP and BNP leaders to unite Baloch Nation under one plateform and demand complete independence from Punjabi Slavery or else they will all be eliminated one by one by ISI and its “PLA” agents. The only way Baloch can have a life and be safe in their own homeland is to be free and independent. Let’s not cheat ourselves and our people with false hopes. Pakistan’s anti-Baloch attitude will never change and all Baloch are at risk of their lives under Pakistan rule. No exception.
