Rind’s House Besieged

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, one of the Opposition leaders in the Balochistan Assembly, has claimed that his residence had been encircled by the provincial forces, Police, Anti- Terrorist Force and Balochistan Levies in order to assassinate him.

Talking to newsmen from his native township, he said that the provincial forces had encircled  Shoran town where the residence of Rind tribal chief is located.

He termed it an attack on the residence of Sardar Rindh with an intention to kill him. He blamed the Provincial Chief Minister for the attack claiming that he would not be cowed down with such tactics and he would fight back

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the government of Balochistan rejected all the allegations telecast by a number of TV Channel saying that widow of late Taj Mohammad Rind had lodged a petition in the  Sessions Court seeking recovery of her property.

The spokesman said that the government had received the court order for the arrest and recovery of the property of late Taj Mohammad Rind and the local administration is trying to dislodge the “illegal occupants” of the disputed property.

The spokesman said that the government could not be blackmailed by any individual, nor it would allow any one to obstruct the implementation of court orders as the Provincial government respects the independence of judiciary.
