Ten-Year Girl Killed in Landmine Blast

QUETTA: A 10-year-old girl was killed by landmine blast in Jaffarabad district on Wednesday.

According to reports, unidentified culprits placed a landmine in Ghot Band Ali Sundrani area. Ten-year-old Sharifa Bugti was passing through the area when she stepped on the mine causing huge blast. She suffered injuries and was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. The dead body was handed over to family after medico-legal formalities.

Police have registered a case and started investigations into the matter.
