Two Injured In Attack On NATO Supplies

QUETTA: Two persons suffered splinter wounds on Wednesday, as the NATO container was attacked with hand grenade in Chaman Town, a bordering township with Afghanistan.

An oil tanker was coming back from Afghanistan after supplying fuel to NATO forces came under attack when two persons ridding on a motor bike hurled a hand grenade on it, Levies sources said.

The injured was taken to Quetta hospital for treatment where they have been identified as driver Niaz Ali and Zahid Khan. The tanker was partially damaged in the attack. The culprits managed to escape from the scene. One of the injured stated to be in critical condition.

A case has been registered Chaman Levies Thana and investigations are underway.
