Two killed In Dera Bugti Firing

QUETTA: Two persons were killed and two others sustained bullet injuries when their vehicle came under attack in Dera Bugti on Friday.

According to reports reaching here, a cab carrying four personnel was going to Kashmor from Sui when unidentified armed men opened fire on them near Mazari Ghot.

Resultantly, Bashir Bugti and Qasim Bugti received multiple bullet wounds on upper torso and died on the spot while Suleman Bugti and Qadir Bugti suffered injuries. The attackers were lurking in the area and ambushed the vehicle when it reached close, said an official. The attackers fled the scene after committing crime.

Security personnel rushed to the spot soon after being informed about the incident and took the dead bodies and the injured to Rahim Yar Khan Hospital, where the conditions of the injured stated to be out of danger.

The victims were the employees of Education Department. It could be a case of tribal enmity, security official told.

Meanwhile, a man identified as Amanullah was killed in an incident of firing in Kila Abdullah on Friday. Police termed the incident as result of an old enmity. However, a case has been registered and investigations were underway.
