UoB Receives Around 60 Degrees For Verification

QUETTA: The University of Balochistan (UoB) has received around 60 degrees of federal and provincial legislators for verification. For this purpose, a special committee has been constituted to scrupulously investigate every degree.
Sources at the UoB said the committee had already started probe and would spend at least a week to complete the scrutiny of MNAs’ and MPAs’ degrees which had been submitted to the University of Balochistan.
“The names of committee members have been kept secret in order to avoid any outside influence of powerful people,” said a University insider.
The official, however, assured that the process of scrutiny would be transparent in the matter. The UoB possesses, he added, complete records about its students so that there are no chances of injustice and wrong decision.
It may be mention that sizeable number of the legislators of Balochistan is possessing degrees of religious seminaries and there are strong speculations that the figure of fake degree holders could be more than 20.

Such a big fuss is being made on the issue of fake degrees, which is good anyway and by any means, but it is disgusting how no one says a single word about the accountability of elected members of the country, whether MPS, MNAs, Senators and whether with fake or original degrees. With the new budget all 64 ministers in a house of 65 of Balochistan Assembly would get 30 crore Rs each and there is no one to ask where and how this huge amount will be devoured by these assembly members put there by firishtas sitting above and moving the strings. As far as there is no accountability there will be no progress whether assembly members are graduates or not.
