QUETTA: Three people were killed in a bloody clash between two rival groups in Kanak area of Mastung, some 50-kilometer from here, on Tuesday.
According to official sources, incident took place in Killi Baqi area of Kanak where two tribes had opened fire on each other over a petty issue. As result of firing, three persons identified as Baz Mohammad, Abdul Karim and Bashir Ahmed were killed and Saeed Ahmed suffered bullet injuries.
The Levies officials along with tribal elders rushed to the spot and intervened in clash and brought an end to firing. They brought the situation under control. The dead bodies and injured were taken to nearby government hospital.
It was case of domestic dispute and law enforcement agencies were investigating the incident, a Levy official told this scribe adding that the clash erupted between Mohammad Hasni and Rakhshani tribes over unknown issue.
